Hey guys, how was your week? I bet you had a great week because mine was splendid also... I defended my B.Sc project.
Enough about me the issue I'm tackling today is mouth odor, bad breath a.k.a oozing mouth. Have you ever been in a hot room and someone with a nasty mouth odor just opens his/her mouth and starts murdering you there? OMG its disastrous.

The most painful part of all this is that most people don't know and it breaks their hearts when they find out.One of my friend practically used to carry tom tom around and hands it over to those types of people. Please try and stylishly let them know most especially if the person is your friend
Major causes of bad breath.
1.Dental cavities, gum disease, poor oral hygiene, coated tongue (a white or yellow coating on the tongue, usually due to inflammation) .
2. Hundreds of bacteria live in our mouths and some of them on the tongue or below the gum line.
3. Malnutrition (fat breakdown gives your breath a fruity odor), and dry mouth (saliva has an antimicrobial effect).
4. Infections like; sore throat or sinusitis, or intestinal disorders, such as heartburn, ulcers, and lactose intolerance, also result in bad breath.
5. Smokers also tend to suffer from bad breath
Tips to stop bad breath.
1. Use oral care products like toothpastes, mouthwash and floss.
2.The most important thing to do is to brush that tongue of yours very well, down to the throat.
3. Replace your toothbrush every three to four months.
4. Chew a handful of cloves, fennel seeds, or aniseeds. Their antiseptic qualities help fight halitosis-causing bacteria.
5. For those who wear dentures, ensure you remove them at night and clean to get rid of bacterial buildup from food and drink.
6. Drink plenty of water and swish cool water around in your mouth. This is especially helpful to freshen morning breath.
7. Brush after every meal of fish, beef, garlic e.t.c. and floss, preferably twice a day.
8.  You can also chew a piece of lemon or orange rind for a freshening burst of flavor. The citric acid will stimulate the salivary glands which then fights bad breath.  And also sugar free gum like orbit, mentos and trident.
9. Rinse your mouth with an alcohol-free mouthwash for 30-seconds:  Mix 1 cup of water with 1 teaspoon of baking soda (which changes the pH level and fights odor in the mouth) and a few drops of antimicrobial peppermint essential oil.
10. Breath through your nostrils and not the mouth.
Use a strong tooth brush and brush twice daily
Have a great weekend and share this tips with friends, Bye guys.
